Interested in an Extended Trek at Philmont?

Philmont Scout Ranch has spaces available on Individual Treks for older Scouts (16+ at time of trek) to attend this summer and next. 

Scouts may choose either :-

Option 1-a 14 day Trail Crew Trek split 7 days building and maintaining trails followed by a 7 day Trek, or
Option 2 -a 21 Day Roving Outdoor Conservation School Trek, learning and performing conservation and trail management tasks as well as learning general Land Management.

The system is now up and running, and will be used for all upcoming events requiring sign up - campouts, activities, service projects etc, as well as submitting Youth Leadership Reports.

Memorial Day 2015
 Sunday May 24th come out to join over 3000 volunteers placing individual flags on the graves of Veterans at the Houston National Cemetery. This event is now fully subscribed, but the organizers are looking for volunteers to help preparing the flags on 3/28 - contact Mike Molyneux for details

Eagle Scout Rank - Cooking Merit Badge 

Cooking merit badge will be required for the Eagle Scout rank starting on January 1, 2014. All Scouts who did not earn Eagle by the end of 2013 must complete the Cooking merit badge for Eagle, no matter when they started working on that rank.
