Summer News - Please read!!

Summer Hours - The last PLC agreed that from June 2nd - July 14th, Tuesday Troop meetings will be from 7.30-9.00pm. 

We will return to regular hours 7.00-8.30 from  August 18th.

Summer Uniform -  during June July and August, Class B (Red Troop T-shirt) is acceptable uniform for weekly Troop Meetings.

Summer Break - Last Troop Meeting is July 14th. There will be no Troop Meetings from July 21st to August 11th inclusive. First Troop Meeting of the New Scout Year will be August 18th.

Interested in an Extended Trek at Philmont?

Philmont Scout Ranch has spaces available on Individual Treks for older Scouts (16+ at time of trek) to attend this summer and next. 

Scouts may choose either :-

Option 1-a 14 day Trail Crew Trek split 7 days building and maintaining trails followed by a 7 day Trek, or
 
Option 2 -a 21 Day Roving Outdoor Conservation School Trek, learning and performing conservation and trail management tasks as well as learning general Land Management.

Troop 209 Automated Signup

The system is now up and running, and will be used for all upcoming events requiring sign up - campouts, activities, service projects etc, as well as submitting Youth Leadership Reports.

Eagle Scout Rank - Cooking Merit Badge 

Cooking merit badge will be required for the Eagle Scout rank starting on January 1, 2014. All Scouts who did not earn Eagle by the end of 2013 must complete the Cooking merit badge for Eagle, no matter when they started working on that rank.
