 "Web Site of the Month"

2010 and 2013 BSA National Jamboree

BSA just finished celebrating their 100th Anniversary at the  National Jamboree at Ft. A. P. Hill in Virginia. Over 36,000 Scouts and 7,000 volunteers participated. To see an immersive video of the activities go to the following link and click on one of the links at the top, such as Pioneering. Very cool technology used in this link.

BSA has recently purchased land to create a new High Adventure Base and home for National Jamborees. Thanks to a donation of the Bechtel Family, land in West Virginia has been purchased. Take a look at the selection process with this link.

To get a preview of what the new camp will look like, watch this video. Key activities will include world class white water rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, and mountain biking.

Looks awesome.
